What we collect
Newsletter sign-ups: when you join our email list, we collect the email address you give us so we can send you early access to new drops.
Orders & checkout: purchases are completed through our checkout partner, Shopify. When you place an order, Shopify collects the details needed to process it — such as your name, shipping address, email, and payment information (handled by the payment processor, never stored by us).
Product personalization: if a product offers custom options (like engraving or color choices), we receive the details you enter so we can fulfill your order.
Event bookings: if you request us for an event through the site, we receive the contact details and event information you provide.
How we use your information
To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping and order updates.
To send newsletters and launch announcements — only if you subscribed. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

What we never do

We never store your full payment card details — payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment providers.
We never share your email with anyone outside of the services that help us run the store, except as required by law.
Third-party services

Email delivery: our newsletter list is stored with our email service so we can send you the scoop.
Website hosting: the site is hosted by Lovable, which stores website data needed to run the site.
Your choices
Unsubscribe: click the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or email us and we'll remove you right away.
Access or delete your data: email us at hello.itgirlpicks@gmail.com and we'll help you review or delete the personal information we hold about you.
Cookies: the site uses only the essential cookies needed for your shopping bag and checkout to work.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as needed for tax, warranty, and business purposes. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
